Welcome to Mindful Intimacy! In this workshop you’ll learn tools and practices to help deepen your approach to intimacy, for self and others. You will learn to drop into your body, tune into inner wisdom, and build awareness around giving and receiving touch. This workshop is for everyone—single, partnered, or exploring other ways of relating!
In this 4-hour workshop, we will develop a deeper understanding of intimacy and practice creating connection with ourselves and others. You will build new skills using a combination of mindful touch practices, therapeutic education, and open discussion. During this workshop, there will be some solo practices and some non-intimate touch practices among participants.
This workshop is co-taught by Sabra Della Lucia, LMFT, and Andrea Devon Bertoli, Pleasure Coach & Sex Educator. Our combined experience and tools give you a unique opportunity to explore communication and comfort in intimacy and pleasure in a safe space, with therapeutic support.
In this playful and engaging workshop, you will:
Practice grounding breathwork to tap into self-awareness
Explore intuition to better know your desires and needs.
Deepen your understanding of consent using a dynamic model of giving/receiving
Express yourself with specific and clear communication
Empower yourself with tools to deepen intimacy with yourself and others
Why should you do this work? If you want to improve communication, feel more clear about your desires, and gain an understanding of deeper pleasure principles. You’ll leave with a wildly expanded view of sensation and pleasure, and you’ll gain clarity about how and why asking for what we want is a superpower that can build deeper intimacy.
Here is a sweet testimonial from a previous event: "The workshop gave me new tools for communication in my relationship, and it made me feel less confused about how to approach the topic of intimacy. It gave me a chance to let go of some judgements I’ve been holding onto about my body. I really enjoyed the chance to connect with my partner and myself in a safe, playful, and supportive environment." 💜
